Our Counselors are the backbone of the business! They’re the ones who are hands-on, loving your pets and providing them with the excellent care that we boast about. Camp Canine has become the home-away-from-home for so many pups in NYC, which means our Counselors are your pup’s pawernts-away-from-pawrents.

How long have you been working at Camp?
I’ve been an employee here since 2021.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
My favorite thing about working at Camp Canine is when there is quiet time in the playroom. Every now and then throughout the day, all of the dogs will collectively decided it’s nap time. When that happens, it’s a rare moment where I get to just sit and cuddle with the dogs.

I have one cat!
What do you like to do outside of work for fun?
I love to play video games. (Currently playing Witcher 3!)

My favorite thing about working at Camp is that, even if I’m not having the best day,

Outside of work I’m usually home watching movies. I love the Marvel Comics and all their movies/shows!

I have my own dog, her name is Olive. I named her after the Christmas special “Olive the other reindeer” because I thought she looked like her and it felt right.

I had 2 furbabies. I lost my baby girl, Oreo Cookie. She passed away at the age of 15. I miss her so much. So now it’s just my boy Rosco, he is 12.

Outside of work I love spending quality time with family & friends, eating out restaurants, soaking up some sun on the beach & road trips!

I enjoy every part of my job, but if I had to choose one thing I’d say being surrounded with all my furry babies at work fulfills my heart.

I have a mini Pit named Chrome who I love and spoil so much! Me and my daughter actually rescued him and I’m so elated that I was able to give him a good home.

My favorite part of the job is getting all the cuddles from our campers and getting to know their wonderful owners.

I do not have any pets of my own, my love for animals started in high school when I began working at a rescue. I was there for 4 years and learned so much so I’m super grateful for that opportunity.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love traveling, working out, everything and anything outdoorsy, and trying out new restaurants!

I love that I get to be creative when it comes to working with the brand. I get to do things like creating doggy Valentine’s Day dates or hosting Camp Canine’s Howloween Pawty – which means, at its core, my job is to create and share wholesome things and cute dogs with our Camp family.

I have a fish named Shroom. Someday I’ll get a Samoyed! And probably some jellyfish.

Outside of work I’m an artist, a foodie, a traveler, a power-lifter, a swimmer, a stargazer, a cotton candy-connoisseur and an avid whale-lover.

My favorite parts of the job have been getting to know all of our Camp Parents and being able to work in an environment where puppy and kitty-cuddles can happen at any moment.

No pets at the moment, but my roommate and I are seriously considering adding a new kitty friend to our household!

When I’m not at Camp I’m usually working for myself; reading Tarot for my clients or hand-making products as a creative outlet. In my down time, you can usually find me at home surrounded by pillows and blankets while binge-watching old episodes of Real Housewives, Rupaul’s Drag Race or Murder Mystery Documentaries.

The people I work with! Camp has the highest concentration of dog lovers in the city and I couldn’t feel more at home.

I like to read, lift weights, visit thrift stores and knit.
