Our Counselors are the backbone of the business! They’re the ones who are hands-on, loving your pets and providing them with the excellent care that we boast about. Camp Canine has become the home-away-from-home for so many pups in NYC, which means our Counselors are your pup’s pawernts-away-from-pawrents.

My favorite thing about working at Camp is that, even if I’m not having the best day,

Outside of work I’m usually home watching movies. I love the Marvel Comics and all their movies/shows!

Any time you give us a call or send us an email, the Front of House staff is on the other end, ready to reply! These are the faces you get to know best – they’re the people who give the tours, calm your helicopter-pawrent anxieties, and post all of the Facebook pictures at the end of the day.

My favorite thing about working at Camp Canine is being able to be around so many loving animals. It’s like therapy for me to get constant snuggles from dogs and cats!

I have my own dog, her name is Olive. I named her after the Christmas special “Olive the other reindeer” because I thought she looked like her and it felt right.

I have been at camp for over 5 years now.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
I enjoy every part of my job, but if I had to choose one thing I’d say being surrounded with all my furry babies at work fulfills my heart.

I have a mini Pit named Chrome who I love and spoil so much! Me and my daughter actually rescued him and I’m so elated that I was able to give him a good home.

Outside of work I spent most of my time finding hidden gems throughout the city to enjoy. I enjoy being able to sit somewhere taking in the scenery and writing poetry. I also love to dance.

I like to do many things, including being out in nature – going to the parks fills me with a lot of positive energy. I also like going to restaurants, museums, galleries and the ocean, among other things.

What’s your favorite part of the job?
I like working here because it’s close to home and an easy commute. But also, the people and dogs at work make it fun and the days go by fast. Pizza days are pretty cool too!

Outside of work I enjoy wine tasting, Central Park walks with my dog, hiking, dining al fresco (also with my dog) and listening to live music.

My favorite part of the job is getting all the cuddles from our campers and getting to know their wonderful owners.

I do not have any pets of my own, my love for animals started in high school when I began working at a rescue. I was there for 4 years and learned so much so I’m super grateful for that opportunity.
What do you like to do outside of work for fun?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love traveling, working out, everything and anything outdoorsy, and trying out new restaurants!

I’ve got over decade at Camp under my belt!
What’s your favorite part of the job?
I love that I get to be creative when it comes to working with the brand. I get to do things like creating doggy Valentine’s Day dates or hosting Camp Canine’s Howloween Pawty – which means, at its core, my job is to create and share wholesome things and cute dogs with our Camp family.

I have a fish named Shroom. Someday I’ll get a Samoyed! And probably some jellyfish.

Outside of work I’m an artist, a foodie, a traveler, a power-lifter, a swimmer, a stargazer, a cotton candy-connoisseur and an avid whale-lover.

The people I work with! Camp has the highest concentration of dog lovers in the city and I couldn’t feel more at home.

My son, Roy, is the absolute light of my life. He’s an 9-year-old Pharaoh Hound/Husky mix.

I like to read, lift weights, visit thrift stores and knit.
